With the Easter weekend coming up, we’ve been thinking about some crafts and projects to keep us busy and to welcome Spring into our homes.
We have ideas for children, as well as some for the grown-ups – have a scroll!
Easter Bunny Pom-Poms
These Easter bunny pom-poms are very cute, and the tutorial will show you how to make them, using a DIY pom-pom maker. There are no sharp edges, so children can really get stuck in.
Once you’ve got the bunny, we’ve some lovely ribbon to tie around the bunny’s neck to finish! We suggest using wool in a neutral colour, like cream or dark brown, and adding a spotty ribbon.
Easter Ribbon Wreaths
e love this idea – why should wreaths only be for Christmas? This can be a family activity as it could be fairly time-consuming for just one person. There’s a tutorial here, which uses paper, but using ribbons will work for a simple and pretty result too.
The ribbon wreaths are a nice touch for Easter decorations in your home, and we have lots of ribbons to choose from! Pastels, with dashes of spots or florals, will work well here.

Table decoration and setting
As we’re allowed to meet outside again, it’s nice to really make an effort on special occasions. We have some really pretty fabric flower bunches for an outdoor Easter day lunch table arrangement, and we found lots of inspiration on Pinterest.
Mix fabric bunches with fresh flowers for a taste of Spring – you can place the tiny bunches in the napkins, or put them in little glass jars, for a beautiful table on Easter Sunday.
Bunting is such a simple touch, but it can really brighten a space, especially as we are likely to spend more time together outside over the coming weeks!
There’s a very handy how-to guide for making bunting here. Try
pairing different florals with our deep green lace edge bias binding for a lovely ode to Spring time.
