Halloween haberdashery
Welcome to our Halloween haberdashery! We’ve had great fun putting together a spook-tastic product selection for you in anticipation of fantastic homemade costumes, decorations and table settings. Thanks to Tiree from Random Chair Commercial Photography for the stunning pictures – they really show off our Halloween fabrics, ribbons, and all the trimmings on offer in our Kendal store.

Picture shows: organza bat fabric, £4.99/metre, humongous ostrich feathers, £1.99/each, masks (varying designs), £1.99-£4.99 each, pom pom trimming (various sizes/colours), £1.00-£3.99/metre, marabou trimming, £1.99/metre.
Marabou trimming and ostrich feathers (prices as above): inexpensive trimmings are just the thing for DIY halloween costumes and table settings. The marabou trim is ideal for the ears and tail in a witch’s cat costume and all the feathers need is a simple jar and an accompanying pumpkin for them to look fab as a table centrepiece. Of course, feathers are also incredibly versatile for costume-making, have a look at these ideas for feathery flourishes!
Picture shows: Halloween haberdashery ribbons (varying designs), 80p-£1/metre. We love them just wrapped round the pumpkin as a decoration but there are endless ribbon projects to try too, including a fab table runner and the most amazing Halloween door wreaths.
Picture shows: Organza bags (large and small), 60p and 40p/each, skull buttons, 65p-£1/each. The organza bags are ideal for treat bags after a Halloween party, or to limit the Trick or Treating haul! And the skull buttons are crying out for a costume to complete, or a Halloween invitation to adorn.
Picture shows: Lace mask (various styles and designs), £1.99-£4.99/each.
Picture shows: organza skull fabric, £4.99/metre. There are so many uses for this really affordable and versatile fabric – a no sew Halloween tutu, or some sinister fairy wings?
Picture shows: black lace fabric, £3.99/metre. From lace candle holders to table runners, swathes of fabric over a mantle to stunning costumes – this is a really versatile fabric for the Halloween season!
Please will you be open tomorrow morning (Wednesday)
